Um. I'm 19, and an art student. My blog is kind of disjointed, like my little intro here. For the sake of context, I'm a trans guy, and asexual-ish, and I dunno. I have hands, they're pretty cool. I draw with them sometimes. I also have feet which I'm pretty proud of. I have five of them and also two of a different kind below my ankles.

Also my name is Asher.

Hi.

I liked the work I did in my figure drawing class today, so I’m posting it here.

My camera made the blues really bright for some reason. I tried to adjust it but… I got lazy. But just so you know, the blues are not that bright IRL. Haha.

Oh wow Asher this is great!!

A lot of things look awkward, but I’m guessing that wasn’t the point of the assignment. xP I mean it when I keep telling you that you have a gift for pastels. I’m still kind of gross at them. The first one just blends beautifully and kfddjgslfdk colors. I mean, the second one’s nice too. But. Colors. xP

I know a lot of things are awkward. We haven’t started doing proportions yet in class and also I am terribly lazy.

Using pastels is more like painting than drawing really. And I have no idea how to do any actual painting/pastel techniques so I put a lot of faith into just laying down colors in places (which is also why the proportions got weird ») and hoping it works. But they’re very fun and messy and I like ‘em. It’s like painting but without all of that hassle of washing brushes.
